Items may be purchased at a player's home location using vim. Items fall under consumables or regular items. Regular items are further delineated into Offensive, Defensive, or Utility types. They can be made more powerful, falling into basic, advanced, or legendary categories. The single stat found on the basic version of an item will also carry over into the advanced and legendary versions.

Items can have passive traits. Items that share traits with the same name do not stack, so care must be taken in selecting items.
